General respiratory complaints and undifferentiated shortness of breath are a major issue in primary care and specialist practice. Trying to ascertain the cause of these can be a diagnostic dilemma. Complex lung function can greatly help in this process and provides considerably more information than spirometry alone. In addition, lung function provides an important way of monitoring general respiratory diseases, making an assessment in a pre-operative setting, or investigating the presence of abnormal office-based spirometry.

North Shore Respiratory & Sleep is the North Shore's premier practice for access to expert interventional services, including diagnostic flexible bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound guided procedures (EBUS), pleural ultrasound as well as a number of other specialised procedures.
Following consultation with one of our Respiratory Physician's, we are able to provide appropriate access to a number cutting-edge bronchoscopic sampling and intervention techniques. We use all new, state-of-the-art equipment to allow your doctor to perform any necessary procedures. Our procedures are bulk-billed and incur no out-of-pocket expenses.
